Water Words
A reading of voices 'less heard'
within the catchment of a river
whose stories will stay with you.
Water Words will be performed on Friday 24th (starting at 12.30pm & 12.45pm) and Saturday 25th August (starting at 17.15 & 17.30).
"Water Words", is a participatory work for
five people at a time. The 'audience' is invited to read a short text
together, which is in five parts, resulting in a communal experience
that can be both haunting and enriching. The piece weaves together
stories of the River Croal and women living in its catchment. No prior
experience or preparation is required - participants just turn up and
read together.
